Why LBo?
As a middle-schooler [a hundred years ago] my friend I made nicknames and mine was LBo (like JLo, but my initials).
When I worked at Art Things art supply store, we had shorthand names and this was when LBo got the reboot, the same time I was starting my line of handmade wares. As I expand my artistic and writing practice, LBo still feels like a good fit for a sign-off.

Lindsay Bolin Lowery, aka LBo, is an artist based in Maryland specializing in watercolor, drawing, printmaking, and digital media. She is inspired by the food, water, and culture of the Chesapeake Bay region, residing on the Eastern Shore and serving as studio manager for Art at Large, Inc. in Annapolis.
